Intro To Optimization Tools

There is so much data we can collect while running a video game. Some game engines are 500+ lines of code, and without understanding the tools and the processes the task of detection would be very time consuming.

All of our tools (and some processes), fall into one of the three following categories:

  • Profilers
  • System Monitors
  • System Adjusters
